Dr. N. Subrahmaneswara Babu is a highly accomplished and extensively trained Surgical Gastroenterologist with expertise in GI oncology and hepatopancreatobiliary surgery. A postgraduate from GEM Hospital and a post-doctoral fellow from JIPMER, he is among the first to be awarded a superspeciality fellowship in HPB surgery from the prestigious institute. He has played a pivotal role in live donor liver transplant programs and has assisted in India’s first laparoscopic live donor liver transplant. Known for his skill in minimally invasive surgeries and a passion for surgical teaching, he serves as a national faculty member for several FMAS programs across India.
